Outreach Presentations

In addition to the required online training for every student, 1 is 2 Many offers research-based outreach presentations to any group upon request. These presentations are tailored to college students and and presented by our Peer Educators. 

The presentations are meant to facilitate students to become active bystanders and leaders on OSU's campus. Each presentation last about 45 minutes and involves activities and videos on a variety of topics, depending on the presentation chose. Presentations can also be tailored for any group or topic, as well as shortened if needed.

Presentation Descriptions

Consent. Support. Intervene.
Our most popular presentation walks students through the importance of obtaining and practicing effective consent, supporting a friend who may have experienced sexual violence, and how to successfully intervene in a harmful situation.

Yes, No, MayBAE? 
This presentation is all about healthy relationships, boundaries, and expectations.  A relationship can be years in the making, a couple of weeks long, or just beginning—but a connection is a connection. Learn how to maintain healthy, consensual relationships.

Lead by Example
Student leaders often enjoy this presentation as it specifically addresses their role on campus. This presentation focuses on challenging rape culture and taking bystander intervention to the next level, student leaders will feel confident making the cowboy community a safe and inclusive place for all.

Donut Just Stand There, Intervene
This fun twist on bystander intervention gets students excited about making a difference in their community.  Warning: this presentation contains many pictures of donuts, so do not come hungry (or encourage your advisor to supply donuts)!

Supporting Students
This presentation is specifically designed for faculty and staff to feel more confident in their role as they respond to students who may have experienced sexual violence.  This is great for a staff meeting, retreat, or in-service.
